Role: Creative lead and creative producer
The brief
Sustainability can be complex. From climate concerns to biodiversity, it can often feel like an overwhelming topic. For Lidl, the challenge was to cut through this complexity to make their sustainability engaging and accessible for employees. However, their existing 'YOU' sustainability programme wasn't doing the trick.




The solution
'GO YOU!' is a series of fun, playful content packages that combine education and entertainment. They turn complex and abstract ideas into real and relevant tips, tricks and learnings. They educated employees on Lidl's existing sustainability credentials as well as ways they could act more sustainably at work and at home. I managed the entire production, including locations, scripts, styling, directing, and post-production.




The impact
This internal campaign successfully informed and inspired Lidl colleagues across the UK to understand the meaning of sustainability within the supermarket context. The result was an entertaining and empowering initiative that significantly increased employee engagement with crucial topics like biodiversity, food waste, recycling, and climate change. It also received a coveted nomination for best use of content at the CorpComms Awards.
